First Day - Last Semester

Today was my first day at University of Baltimore for my last semester. This is probably one of my most exciting times when it comes to schooling. It's because I know that I don’t have any more semesters left a head of me. Yay!!!! I am taking three classes:

  • Advance Web Site Development-- Wednesday @ 8:15-10:45pm
  • Database Design & Implementation -- Thursday @ 5:30-8:00pm
  • Ideas in Writing -- Thursday @ 8:15-10:45pm
Hopefully the semester will move along and then graduation. It has been a long journey and I am ready to close this chapter of my life.

Ocean City -- 2005

During the week of August 16th though 20th, I was on vacation atOcean City, Md. It was a great time for me and the entire Adam family. Garry and I did a lot of fishing (3 days) and have plenty of pictures to show our results. One of the most exciting times was when Garry had pulled in 3 baby sharks and 21 inch flounder. Jennifer and I enjoyed some quality time on the board walk. We ate at some tasteful restaurants such as Harrison’s Harbor Watch, Phillips, Anthony’s, and Hooters. During the night life we went to a variety of bars such as: The Green Turtle, Whisker Pub, Mackey’s, and Plim Plaza Caribbean Bar and Grill. I think by the end of the trip everyone was ready to get back home. It’s not that Ocean City is not fun but for me, at least, a few days are good. Now, school is just right around the corner so its time get one last partying in before the weekend is over. I’ll let everyone know how the weekend went. Until then enjoy the pictures from Ocean City!!!

Yesterday was our FFL Combined

Yesterday was our Fantasy Football League Combined,Razzle Dazzle Fantasy Football League. The meeting started around 1 and lasted until late evening. The combine was hosted at our commissioner house, Joey. A lot of us were restless throughout the event because there was no A/C within the house and it was a hot, muggy day. But being a good sport, we all stuck it out and went along with our drafting for our teams. This league has $50 entry for each general manager and the winner of the Super Bowl will get $400. That is a hefty chunk of change I wouldn't mind winning. A few players within the league already predicting that I might win the superbowl based on my draft picks. However, this is football and players tend to get injured at any given time. Hopefully, my team will be in the top four for playoffs and then come through in the Super Bowl--$400 richer!!

Can Anyone Beat Mike Massey?

Me and Mike Massey Mike Massey is a nine time World Champion and also a mastermind in trick shots. You may have seen this man on ESPN or other professional tournaments therefore; you would know how great this man is for the sport of billards.

Mike came into my town tonight for a trick shot exhibition. He also offered chances to play against him as well as getting autographs. I played against him tonight and of course lost--just like everyone. Mike allowed me to take the first crack at the rack and let me break. Unfortunately, no balls had fallen. Mike came up to the table with easy of confidence and ran six of his balls in a row. He did miss on the seventh ball when he suprisingly did Massey's magic when he stroke the cue ball but his object ball had gotten hung up in a corner. Then, it was my last attempt to beat this pro and I had no shot available. So, I aimed down on my pool stick and tried to squeeze my ball passed his object ball that was hung up in the corner but never made it. I knew the game was over after I had missed and he won the game. As a great sportsman, he shook my hand and said, "Good Game!"

I admire his personality with the game of billards and interactive with the audience. He would set up trick shots and have audience participants try to execute the shot. Generally, the balls would have fall and you would hear a roar from the audience as each trick was executed perfectly. This is my second time I have ever met Mr. Massey, but from both times he presents has been enjoyable. Thank You, Mike!
