We travled our 4-wheelers through rocky creeks, over fallen down trees, climbed steep hills and even crawled through mud pits. We took some photos and videos of our travel through the woods and the last shot was from a video so the quality is not the greatest. It's a series of monologues from women who have had common experiences in their lifetime, ranging from sexual abuse, going to the gyn, periods and childbirth. This year the V-Day spotlight focuses on "Comfort Women", who were women used as sex slaves in the Japanese War. These women are demanding an apology from the Japanese goverment for what was done to them. This will be Jennifer's second year in the play and this year its held at our local community college, Harford Community College and will run for three nights. Some tickets are still available. If you have never heard of V-day or Vagina Monologues, please take the time and explore this site.

"V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls." --Vday.org

Amber Alert!

There was spill of a few days where my Mom and I hadn't seen each other due to conflicting schedules. Well, I finally understand how he does it. About a week ago, Buckeye was chilling around the house and before I knew it he was on his back with his to two paws in an akward position. I looked to my brother and said, "Oh my god! Look at Buckeye." He laughed then I decided to touch him to wake him up but never moved and he felt cold and stiff. My first thought was buckeye must had died and rigor mortus had started its course. I looked at Eric and said, "Oh shit! I think he is dead! What are we going to tell mom?" Buckeye is very attach to Mom for those who did not know. So I tried to hit him again but with force. He finally woke up with a little meow. I guess it was his way to say, "leave me alone." I bet he uses this tatic to catch his prey due to being clawless. I have to say the computer itself was sweet. Since the purchase time, I have wiped the computer out just once with the preinstall recovery software provided by Gateway. Everything went smoothly! My girlfriend has a Gateway laptop 7210GX model and I had a terrible time whipping out her computer. There was no recovery method preinstalled on the computer. There was no back up version of the software or an image of the hard drive on a different partition. The only recovery option I saw on the computer was a directory that had all the drivers and other critical OS components. It was a back up of the C drive but it was located on the C drive. Therefore, you cannot restore those files while being on the same drive you are trying to restore. Who ever at Gateway was in charge of setting this feature up on her laptop did a terrible job. On top of it all, I went to the Gateway support site and most of the driver they provide with this laptop did not even work. A good friend and I were out on the internet trying to find the correct drivers for all the hardware components. Luckily we did after a few days of searching high and low. I just want to say --> GATEWAY, YOU SUCK!

Shhoeee, I feel a lot better =)

Graduation Pictures v1.1

My step-mother had passed along some of her camera shots from my graduation. A good friend/future cousin was eyeing me down with a camera. Was I to back down? Heck no! So I grab my fierce Olympus Digital Camera and gave it right back to him. She is 9 weeks old and currently weighs 14 pounds. Sophie is a Golden Retriever and Lab mix. Both of her parents are pure breds. Sophie came from a breeder in Catonsville and was one of 13 puppies. We think that she wasn't given a lot of love and attention since she craves it from everyone in her path. Sophie is currently being create trained and so far, hasn't left any "surprises" since the process has started. It did however, take her a couple days to realize that she was going to be in the create when no one was home or around her. The create is referred to as "Sophie's home".

Sophie loves being outside. She loves leaves and especially loves when the wind blows the leaves. She also likes to roll around the lawn and when she is ready to come inside she sits "pretty" by the front door. Sophie's favorite toys are her raw-hides and her tug-of-war chewy.

Sophie still has a long way to go with all of her training, but is doing an impressive job so far adjusting to her new family and her new environment. She is the top DIVA in the house! Sophie looks forward to celebrating the new year and many more years with her new family that adore her.

Tis The Season....

I want to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday. Barbara Ehrenreich answered this question in her latest book, Nickel and Dimed On (Not) Getting By in America. Barbara has already developed her good name by writing twelve books, some of which have been named on the New York Times Best Seller list. As she ventured off from her high class status and made her entrance in the lower class, she began to realize that blue collar workers are not lazy, which is a common label placed on them. Since our government set standards for low paid workers, it is up to us, the American citizens to exploit these standards because with them in place Americans cannot survive.

Barbara Ehrenreich sets up three locations around the United States in her trial of being a low paid worker, her goal is to see if she will be able to survive earning minimum wage. Her first stop was in Key West, Florida. She a waitress. Her second stop was in Portland, Maine and this time she was a cleaning lady and worked in a nursing home. Finally, her last stop was in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she was a Wal-Mart associate. At each of these locations Barbara had to find lodging at affordable rates and pay for all of her necessities. As she tried to manage to stay a float from this project Barbara begun to understand that Americans cannot really make it in America with just one job.

Barbara exploited how the job market for the lower class is tough and has a quick turn over ratio. For example, the lower class workers will turn in applications but never seem to get a response. So, Barbara came to the assumption when she was trying to apply for jobs from the want ads, “Most of the big hotels run ads almost continually, if only to build a supply of applicants to replace the current workers as they drift away or are fired, so finding a job is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time and flexible enough to take whatever is being offered that day” (p. 15). Also, low wage workers have to physically work hard on their feet all day and everyday; meanwhile, the body can only handle so much abuse and workers have to take time off or quit to let their body recoup. This is why low wage workers cannot survive in America because the pay is so little while there is somebody there waiting to take that job.

Barbara exploited the lodging market in America by scrambling around to find the lowest and safest affordable housing in each of her three locations. In most cases, Barbara stayed in motels for most of her lodging because of the availability. When she talked to her co-workers about their living conditions some were sleeping in their cars or staying in motels as well. In Minnesota, the housing market was so stiff that she had to stay in a motel for $245 a week which she claims is “…scandalously high, higher in fact than my aftertax weekly pay will amount to” (p. 150). On top of that, the motel didn’t have locks on the door or screens in the window. With the higher cost of living and the lows of minimal wage, Americans cannot survive off this equation.

Barbara exploited by the standards of minimal wage that Americans have to multiple jobs in order to survive. At each location Barbara did her investigation she had to obtain two jobs just to make ends meet. Two jobs bring exhaustion and self-inflicting pain to the body. Nobody can maintain a hectic and frustrating cycle on the body year after year. Barbara, herself was having a hard enough time to handle the physical work just in a month work. Minimal wage needs to be readjusted so Americans can survive in a low class work environment.

Barbara exploited how management took advantage and treated their employees with unfairness. When Barbara worked at her second job in Key West, the job environment was hazardous. When Barbara was in Portland, Maine she had an encounter with co-worker, Holly who had twisted her ankle while on the job. Holly was afraid to tell their boss what had happened because she didn’t want to lose the valuable pay or even worse, her job. As Holly apologized to the boss for falling, Barbara was getting upset over the unfair treatment her employer was dishing out. So, Barbara got on the phone and said, “…can’t keep putting money above his employees’ health and I don’t want to hear about ‘working through it,’ because this girl is in really bad shape” (p.110). Holly had a few days off afterwards but her only options were to take off and nurse her ankle without pay or work to pay for her injury. Without Barbara there pushing Holly to voice her injury, the injury would have went unnoticed and management would have taken advantage of yet another low class worker.

What Barbara explored in her investigations was surprising to both her and the readers who are engaged in her book. Barbara uncovered an epidemic that many Americans fight each day, just to make ends meet or put food on the table for their family members. Barbara only did three months of low waged work; however, she got an understanding how hard it is to survive in America. With finding adequate lodging, food, and employment that any other lower class citizen, Barbara still couldn’t get ahead and feel comfortable financially. Also, she had some benefits throughout her investigation by having a car, which carries along a car payment, and money stashed away in case of an emergency. If that is not evident enough, Barbara even took time off between the jobs to recoup from the physical abuse that her body had encountered through her rigorous work schedule. After going through what Barbara had to endure she still couldn’t make it and she only had to worry about herself. If Barbara can’t make it on her own in addition to cutting corners, how can Americans survive in America on minimal wage with no corners to cut? They can’t.

UB Last Finals

This is my last week of school as we head into finals. I only have to write one paper on a book called, Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich due on Thursday. Also, I have one final in Database with a project due on the same night--Thursday. Then, I am all done with school. Yay! Now, give me a beer! I was supposed to have a final on Wednesday night but since no one in my class has completed their e-commerce site. The final was cancelled and the e-commerce site is worth double. Enough with the bullshit, like I said before, pass me a beer--it's all over!

No NYC this Christmas

Every year that I have been with Jennifer we made a journey to New York City. We usually take a bus ($45 roundtrip) and spend the whole the day together visiting NYC finest venues such as: plays, China town, Ground Zero (a few month after 9/11), Central Park and of course Time Square. I think this year with everything being so crazy with school, family, and Christmas that we are going to put off the trip until after the new year. It sad that we are going to break our routine trip but it is better this way. We can enjoy the christmas holidays while not having to put out extra money. The picture above was taken on one of our past trips to New York and I added a comic book effect with photoshop.

Quick summary of Punta Cana

As many of readers know, Jennifer had surprised me with a trip to Punta Cana for my college graduation gift. We stayed for 4 nights, 5 days. She decided to booked through Apple Vacation, because our last trip though them was great. The apple rep greeted us at the airport and took us right to our destinated bus. The bus ride wasn't as bad as some of the reviews that Jennifer had read. (There were tons of pot holes in the road and at times we were zig-zagging down certain roads) Apple had supplied us with a charter bus, so we felt less bumps, compared to some of the other smaller shuttles. The ride was about an hour long, but we were interested in seeing the country, so we were focused on looking out the windows. We arrived to Secrets and were greeted with champagne and a cool damp towel for those who were in shock from the heat. After being refresh by our greeters, Jennifer went to check in and was asked if she wished to upgrade to the Excellence club. Due to past reviews Jennifer had read, she declined and was told that the room wasn't ready. I truly think that this is because Jennifer had declined for the upgrade. We went to have lunch in a buffet setting and came back about 45 minutes later and still the room wasn’t ready. This time we had a drink at the bar and waited the 20 minutes that they said it would be. Still, the room wasn’t ready. Jennifer kicked up a fuss and within 5 minutes the room suddenly became ready for us. The room was a standard garden view room. The room was beautiful. We had a jacuzzi tub, 2 bottles of champagne, a fruit basket and flowers that decorated the room. We were glad that we did not do the Excellence upgrade. We relaxed for awhile and went to the Apple meeting that we were scheduled to attend. (This meeting is usually standard for giving general information about the country and what to expect, highly recommendable) For our first dinner at the Boudreaux, which was amazing and watched the nightly entertainment, which was ok, kind of cheesy but entertaining. Tuesday we just relaxed by the pool and went to the beach party that night which consisted of wonderful food. Wednesday we went on our first excursion, the Outback Safari, this was an extremely long day. They picked us up at 9am and we didn’t get back to the resort until 5pm. We toured a Dominican home, a plantation, tasted sugar cane, green oranges and locally grown pineapples. We were also taken to a ranch and had Dominican food for lunch, we didn't really like the food, but many of the people did enjoy it. We were then taken to a beach to boogie board. The waves were extremely rough, so not a lot of people participated. The tour guides also had us stay in a confined space. By the end of this day we were exhausted. We asked how long it would take to get back to the resort and were told 15 minutes...15 Dominican minutes, which means 1 hour. On Thursday we went on our second excursion, which was deep sea fishing. The man arrived at the resort to pick us up at 11am. We picked a few others up and traveled about an hour to a beach. We hopped on a small boat which took us to the fishing boat and hoped on. We went about 6 miles out to sea. The diesel fumes were extremely strong. People were feeling really sick. We later knew that it was from the diesel fumes and not the motion. After catching nothing we went back to get ready to get off the boat. While waiting for the smaller boat to come get us, I noticed that smoke was coming in from the side of the boat. The boat had caught fire!!! Yeah, that's right we paid $200 to catch fish but instead we caught fire. Luckily, a guy that was with us works on boats, so he knew what was going on. The second boat came just in time to get us back to shore safely. The sad part is, I told the Apple reps and the very next day our same tour guide was at the resort picking people up to go right back on that boat! SCARY!!!!All in all, we had a great trip. I might not recommend the deep sea fishing though. Secrets was beautiful. The staff was nice, not overly nice like Cancun, but nice. Our room was beautiful and clean. The food that we had was very tasty. The drinks weren’t very strong, but Jennifer liked the Pina Coladas. Very relaxing trip for 2 college students in their last year!!

Happy Birthday Rohm Harry

It has been two years on November 3rd that my step-father has passed away in a heartbreaking motor vehicle accident. He was on his way home from New York City where he drives everyday in his eighteen wheeler and somehow he collides with another semi. The other eighteen wheeler was not completely off the road while leaving his tail end of his trailer out for a clip. Sadly, Harry hit other truck and flipped over and catching on fire. A near by truck driver pulled over and dragged Harry out of the truck. He stripped himself down to nothing because he was engulfed in flames and began trying to find the status of his opposing victims (he always put others before himself). Later, Harry was flown to Chester Burn Center where he lived for three more days. We all had hope that he will over come this tragedy but God took him into his arms instead.

Now you all know who Harry was and since he continues to lives in spirit, he is now 50 years old.

Sometime in near future there will be a bio of Harry--stay tune!

Mike starts his journey in Kuwait

A good friend of mine, Mike Green left the good states of America to be contractor in Kuwait. The event is filled with tasty foods such as: pit roast beef, pit ham, oysters (raw, fried, or steamed) potatoe salad, cole slaw, sarukrat with hotdogs, bake beans, and much more. Not to mention the free draft beer between 4:00pm 7:00pm. There's the sound of the money wheel to make a little mullah or you could place a 50 cents on a number between one and forty for a chance to win your choice of liquor. This year, I only brought home a bottle of Jack Daniels to fullfil my bar needs. After the food has been dissolved, a band comes in and gets everyone dancing from 8:00pm to midnight.

We even had family from Ohio come down to attend this bull roast so you know it must be a hit. Of course, I have pictures so here ya go!
<img style="CURSOR: hand" alt="No, osysters for me. She surprise me not long ago at our favorite restruant Don Pablo's and lets just say I couldn't even eat my meal. I was overwhelm by the thought she put forth for this big occasion and how lucky I am to have her. Not for the fact she had given me one of the biggest presents I had ever gotten from anybody but she truely does complete me. She mentions every now and then that I could not function without her, well, I could but I wouldn't want to! Okay, now let's get into the specifics of the trip.

Where: Secrets Excellence Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

When: Departure 11/21/2005 from Philadelphia through return 11/25/2005 Punta Cana

What does the place look like: Check out the virtual virtual tour and pictures

What else does this place have besides a paradise enviroment: in-room jacuzzi, personal bathrobes, daytime activities (snorkeling, beach/pool volleyball, pool with a waterfall, yoga, bicycle tours, scuba lessons, water polo, billards, tennis, squash, darts, bocce, cocktail lessons, dance lessons, and beach soccer), guided horseback trails, sauna, turkish bath, whirlpool, and exercise equipment.

What restruant do they have: they have seven different a la carte dinning experiences, ambiance and cuisine including: Itailian, Tex-Mex, Mediterranean, Oriental, French, Mexican and Dominican. Being 25 has its ups and downs, like no other time in your life someone is going to say, "dude, your a quarter century years old." Also, you will get a car insurance relieve because you are safer driver by this age. 25 also has come draw back, for example, what other milestone is there after 25, 50 right, over the hill. I guess I will have to wait another 25 years before I see that day.

Life has change so much since the day I was born. I grew up in a small town, Lisbon, Ohio and I would never change those years for the world. Living in Ohio has taught me the farming and small town life which gave a broader sense to different life styles. After these days, I moved to Aberdeen, Maryland, for 15 years now and become acquainted with city/urban lifestyles. Not to mention, the addition to traveling to various countries; I would say I seen more than most people do in a life time. I am grateful for everything comes my way and I am eager to explore more--just to see what life has to offer.

Call of Duty 2

Call of Duty 2 is one hell of a game with some draw backs. The game was supposed to be out by October 25th but no stores had it until 26th or later. Eric, my brother, had gotten the game for me as an early birthday present so I had a chance to play it a few times. But here are my thoughts:

Pros:

Realism in the game is amazing

Still have favorite maps from with additional design layout

Different/More guns choices

Each gun gives a different amount of grenades (sniper = 3 grenades and spray gun = 1 grenade)

grenade, flag, and enemy indicator to know about surrounding area (hopefully you can turn this off)

Voice mode (Able to spit out commands)

Cons:

No Sprinting

No Cookable Grenades

No Jeeps nor Tanks

No health indicator (could also be a good thing too)

No trips

I'm sure that modders will add old features from Call of Duty UO to Call of Duty 2 and continue to make COD a paramount.

Everyone is welcome to play on Dusty's server -- 66.153.46.27:28960

Message for Anonymous commenter’s

I love to see folks come this site and leave comments; however, the Anonymous comments leave me in the dark of who left that particular message. You are always limited in just about everything. Now, the damn thing is starting to stink! You can seriously get high off of my hand. Please forgive me? School has been taking up a lot of my time with papers and now mid-terms.

During this down time I did manage to find a nice calendar and guestbook to add to this site. Please fill free to check them out.

The Calendar will let you know what's going in my life as well upcoming events such as birthdays, deaths, or anything to take knowledge of. I believe you can add event as well. This is done by clicking on the date and typing what you want others to know.

The Guestbook is a different kind of guestbook. This one will allow viewers to add their location as well as picture, name, and shout out. This guestbook is unique because you and I can view the locations where folks have visited this site. We had a great time. When we arrived their were about 15 Harleys in the driveway. What a sight to see! There was a band playing until early in the night and then a DJ arrived until the wee hours of the night. The DJ was from a local music station here in Harford County. We walked into the house and saw the pig staring right back at us. Jen was completely disgusted and decided against eating from anything that starred back at her. I, on the other hand tasted the pork and everything else that was there as well as the pit ham and turkey. The food was really good!

As time went on and as the alcohol started to kick in people started playing beer games. One was called "flip the cup", which is totally crazy. We also took some shots of choclate cake, which is one of Jen's favorites. Jennifer liked the frozen "Sex on the Beach" drinks while I stuck to basic beer.

We enjoyed dancing under the stars to the music as well as the bon fire and being in the company of great friends. This was surely a weekend that won't soon be forgotten.

<img style="CURSOR: hand" alt="The classic picture of Kevin <3 Jennifer" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5743/1382/200/PA0100151.JPG" border="0" /><img style="CURSOR: hand" alt="Kevin, what the hell are you looking at? My girlfriend of 6 1/2 years, Jennifer, is a senior at The College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She will get a degree in Liberal Studies in May then go right back to school in June to accomplish all the graduate study courses she needs and receive her Master's degree in Education. She currently works 1:1 intensively with children who have been diagnosed with Autism. Her goal is to become a Special Educator.

Jen loves to shop and travel. She is constantly comming up with exotic places that we can travel to together. I have to bring her back to reality and explain to her that we are poor and need to wait a little longer until we travel the world. This doesn't really work though, inevitably the next day she will come up with another idea.

Jennifer grew up in Baltimore City and moved to Harford county when she was in the fifth grade. She attend the same high school as I and we met my senior year, her sophomore year, in a Spanish class and have been inseparable ever since.

Jennifer is the most importaint person in my life. She completes me. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. We've come so far together and have grown tremendiously, both as a couple and individually. I am so pround of everything that we have accomplished but I still know that the future holds many twists and turns for us. However, I know that with the love that we share we can face and overcome any struggle that comes our way!

My So Called Life....

Well, since my last posting a lot has happened. First, my surgery has been completed. But not without any drama. I tried to get my old insurance reinstated, but that would have pushed my surgery date back since the new insurance didn't include the doctor or hospital that I was seeing. So, surgery was good. The doc didn't even cut me, he put the pins in and used wires to fix the break. I've had no pain and haven't even touched my pain pills. I also still have no medical insurance.

On Friday, my girlfriend and I went to dinner at TGI Fridays and I lost my wallet. Thankfully, I only had a few dollars in it. However, I lost my license, bank card, credit cards, school i.d. and other importaint swipe cards that are essential.

Saturday came and I got the very pricey hospital bill from last week. You know that just added complete joy to my day!!

I also recieved a letter from this guys insurance agency whom I'd had a fender bender with in July. We were both backing up and hit each other. The insurance company said that we were both at fault. I went ahead and paid my deductable and got my car fixed, thinking the case was closed. Well, Saturday things changed. This man must of lied to his insurance company and they sent me this letter stating that I needed to pay for his damage and that if I didn't contact them within 21 days that they were going to sue me. Wonderful.

So ,today, things are finally starting to look up a little. I went to cancel all my credit cards and get a new license, which was cheaper then I thought it was going to be. Then I went to State Farm, my insurance, and talked to them about this whole accident thing. They assured me that they were going to re-open my case, which I had a witness, and they were going to get a lawyer to represent me. They said that things were looking good on my side.

Hopefully in the up comming days things will take a turn for the better. Until then, I'm just thankful that my troubles are nothing compared to those who fell short of Hurricane Katrina.

9/20 is the date

Okay, for those who have been keeping an update on my status with a broken thumb, check out the x-rays. On Tuesday, at 11AM, I will be in surgery to repair the thumb by having a pin inserted between the two broken bones. As of now, I still dont have insurance but have been working on getting reinstated with my prior health coverage (through COBRA). I might still have troubles because all the "hear-say" I have been hearing that Kaiser Permanmente doesn't allow a surgery to happened without their approval. I will post later about my views on HMO and Kaiser especially if they dont help me. Until the next posting check out the pictures and my Digg news for the technology lovers.

My poor thumb

As some of my loyal readers may know I had broken my left thumb on Tuesday night. I was playing a softball game (beer league) and I had dove across my body to make a catch. The good news, I made a remarkable play and caught the ball. The bad news is I broke the thumb in the process.

As of right now, I am waiting to see the doctor on Wednesday. I went to a different bone doctor last Thursday but he wasn't able to help me because I need surgery. The doctor was big-hearted because when he found out that I didn't have any health insurance, he didn't charge for my visit. Thanks Doc! Hopefully, this doctor can setup an quick surgery session (with a payment plan) and get this thumb back to 100%. I'll keep everyone inform about the thumb when I recieve more news.

<img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="Check out these two hands, can you see a difference? Gas stations are gouging gas prices since everyone is in a panic from Katrina. Katrina shouldn't even effect Maryland gas situation because there are plenty of local refineries to give us an adequet supply. Thursday afternoon I went to school and saw that gas prices when up from $2.60 to $2.99--okay, that caught my eye. By the time I came home from school, gas prices had jump from $2.99 to $3.54. So, I went and bought gas out of fear that I would have paid a higher price. I pulled in the cheapest gas station to fill up my Tiburon with a half tank already in it and it cost me $24. That might not seem like much but remember I only got a half of a tank. Therefore, a full tank would cost me roughly $48 and that is a hefty pay out from commuting college student. When will the government step in and say, "Okay, you guys are definitely gouging these prices to make extra off of a national diaster." How long will the price war over gas continue to climb the ladder while we have other local refineries to give us plenty of gas? How long?

First Day - Last Semester

Today was my first day at University of Baltimore for my last semester. It was a great time for me and the entire Adam family. Garry and I did a lot of fishing (3 days) and have plenty of pictures to show our results. One of the most exciting times was when Garry had pulled in 3 baby sharks and 21 inch flounder. Jennifer and I enjoyed some quality time on the board walk. We ate at some tasteful restaurants such as Harrison’s Harbor Watch, Phillips, Anthony’s, and Hooters. During the night life we went to a variety of bars such as: The Green Turtle, Whisker Pub, Mackey’s, and Plim Plaza Caribbean Bar and Grill. I think by the end of the trip everyone was ready to get back home. It’s not that Ocean City is not fun but for me, at least, a few days are good. Now, school is just right around the corner so its time get one last partying in before the weekend is over. I’ll let everyone know how the weekend went. Until then enjoy the pictures from Ocean City!!!

Yesterday was our FFL Combined

Yesterday was our Fantasy Football League Combined,Razzle Dazzle Fantasy Football League. The meeting started around 1 and lasted until late evening. The combine was hosted at our commissioner house, Joey. A lot of us were restless throughout the event because there was no A/C within the house and it was a hot, muggy day. But being a good sport, we all stuck it out and went along with our drafting for our teams. This league has $50 entry for each general manager and the winner of the Super Bowl will get $400. That is a hefty chunk of change I wouldn't mind winning. A few players within the league already predicting that I might win the superbowl based on my draft picks. However, this is football and players tend to get injured at any given time. Hopefully, my team will be in the top four for playoffs and then come through in the Super Bowl--$400 richer!!

Can Anyone Beat Mike Massey?

Mike Massey is a nine time World Champion and also a mastermind in trick shots. You may have seen this man on ESPN or other professional tournaments therefore; you would know how great this man is for the sport of billards.

Mike came into my town tonight for a trick shot exhibition. He also offered chances to play against him as well as getting autographs. I played against him tonight and of course lost--just like everyone. Mike allowed me to take the first crack at the rack and let me break. Unfortunately, no balls had fallen. Mike came up to the table with easy of confidence and ran six of his balls in a row. He did miss on the seventh ball when he suprisingly did Massey's magic when he stroke the cue ball but his object ball had gotten hung up in a corner. Then, it was my last attempt to beat this pro and I had no shot available. So, I aimed down on my pool stick and tried to squeeze my ball passed his object ball that was hung up in the corner but never made it. I knew the game was over after I had missed and he won the game. As a great sportsman, he shook my hand and said, "Good Game!"

I admire his personality with the game of billards and interactive with the audience. He would set up trick shots and have audience participants try to execute the shot. Generally, the balls would have fall and you would hear a roar from the audience as each trick was executed perfectly. This is my second time I have ever met Mr. Massey, but from both times he presents has been enjoyable. Thank You, Mike!

My Intro:

Hello World!
